Advertising online with State of the Ozarks. State of the Ozarks offers advertising on a first-come, first-served basis. Advertising is currently sold by the month. Ads are designed by State of the Ozarks to guarantee functionality. Design is included in the cost of the advertisement. State of the Ozarks reserves the right to refuse any potential advertiser for any reason. _______ About advertising on a editorial website. Advertising on an editorial website is far different than doing so on other websites. In case you hadn't noticed, most commercial websites are little more than technical billboards. There is little, if any, compelling reason for a visitor to remain on commercial web pages for any period of time. Editorial websites, like State of the Ozarks, contain specific content that keeps a reader staying on the site far longer, thus increasing the amount of time each person is exposed to each advertisement. Additionally, State of the Ozarks will work hard to place ads appropriately throughout the site (for example, recreation advertisements will be placed first on Natural Heritage pages). This increases target market exposure. All in all, advertising with State of the Ozarks makes sense. Questions? E-mail the editor at jheston@mtco.com. |
